4k House

Millions of people are homeless and need a stable and safe place to call home. In an effort to “Do what we can do”. We have designed a micro house that can meet the needs of people. Many of the people that need a home have experienced setbacks or loss. Being able to process through this loss and arrive at a healthy place is apart of the homes design.

With every house that is delivered a full package of finger paints will be supplied. We have set aside an area on the front of the house that will be used by both young and old to bring about their artistic expression. Not only can this allow for a personalization to the home, but also bring about a deeper sense of ownership, pride and creativity.

Two local artists Zach and Kimmerjae Johnson are helping to plant this vision. They describe a place of peace from their perspective through the medium of finger paints. This place as expressed in the art is a moment when Zach took the time to slow down and notice that not all was lost.
